Imaginemos la escenificación de aquello inaprensible que, de manera inmaterial está presente y organiza la realidad cotidiana del hombre. El tiempo y el espacio están eternamente unidos, atrapados el uno en el otro. Fundiéndose en una extraña experiencia primaria, materia, espacio y tiempo le dan sentido a nuestro ser.
¿Pero como medir algo que no existe?
Esta instalación escenifica el tiempo llevado de forma física a un objeto.
En una progresión de tiempo y luz, haciéndose evidente, por un lado, la realidad que nos envuelve y, por otro, el transcurso de tiempo que tiene lugar durante el desarrollo de la escena. En el devenir de la experiencia, éste -el tiempo- se va fundiendo y dejando de ser. La razón de ser del tiempo es dejar de existir.
En una progresión de 7, 5 minutos, se enciende cada vela. Después de un total de 8 horas, justo al encender la vela n ° 64, se apaga la primera, totalmente derretida. Cada vela muestra un paso físico del tiempo y, a su vez, con cada una muestra una progresión luminosa, permitiendo ver el espacio físico, haciendo realidad todo el mundo que existe alrededor del trabajo.
Instalación consistente en una estructura de madera en forma de arco, sobre la cual se han colocado un total de 64 velas. Estos son compatibles con la estructura con un soporte de alambre.
Imagine the staging of that invisible thing that, in an immaterial way, is present and organizes the daily reality of the human being. Time and Space are eternally united, trapped in each other. Melting into an strange primary experience, matter, space and time give a meaning to our existence.
¿But how can we measure something that does not exist?
This installation represents time transformed into the physical shape of an object. In a progression of time and light, becoming clearly, in one side, the reality that embraces us and, in the other side, the course of time that takes place during the scene. In the course of experience, this -time- melts and ceases to be. The reason for being of time is to cease to exist.
In a progression of 7, 5 minutes each candle is lit. After a total of 8 hours, just when lighting the candle n° 64, the first one goes out, totally melted. Each candle shows a physical passage of time and, in turn, with each one shows a luminous progression, allowing to see the physical space, making real all the world that exists around the work.
Installation consisting of a wooden structure in the shape of an arch, on which a total of 64 candles have been placed. These are supported on the structure with a wire support.
